Children and young people love communicating, so it’s just a question of getting them to do it in English! Through practical examples and hands-on activities, this session will look at improving engagement and speaking skills. We will cover the different areas of communication our students need to focus on: listening, speaking and how to successfully bring the two skills together in pairs, small groups and whole classes.

Michael Tomlinson has been teaching English since 1989. He has worked in the UK, Turkey, Spain and Sweden, with students of all ages and levels. He is currently a teacher at Star English, Murcia.
