In this presentation, we will explore the difference between reading skills and strategies and why this distinction matters for print and online reading. Participants will engage in a reading activity to compare online and print texts, evaluate online text validity and identify key characteristics of each. In doing so, we will examine reading activities that promote deeper reading in the classroom.
