Games and Activities for 6 – 8 year-olds

This workshop will offer a number of practical ideas and activities that are suitable for young learners. We will focus on the use of games, stories, puppets and flash cards which are easily applicable and can greatly enrich our English lessons.

Vlaďka is an English teacher, teacher trainer and Cambridge English oral examiner. She has over 20 years’ experience of teaching both young learners and adults in a range of situations. She holds the Cambridge CELTA and DELTA. Vlaďka divides her time between teaching and teacher training. Currently, she has been teaching for a private language school as well as for an alternative primary school. As a teacher trainer she prepares sessions for various audiences and works for Macmillan Education, the National Pedagogical Institute and various state and private schools.
