To truly understand and respect \"others\" and their culture involves more than just learning their language. We all tend to fall for stereotypes and prejudice at times. But can we change that? \nIf you would like to add an intercultural dimension to your teaching practice and help your students deal with ambiguity, make sense of unfamiliar situations and be able to suspend judgement then this is the right workshop for you!

As a former English teacher to adults, Jana is currently working as an Education and School Relations Coordinator for international non-profit organisation AFS Mezikulturní Programy, o.p.s. Here she is responsible for communication with schools, alongside administrative and methodological support for teachers working with exchange students globally.
