Visible thinking puts thinking at the heart of learning and fosters deep learning. In this session, we will look at what visible thinking is and the benefits our students will derive. Bearing in mind the challenges of using thinking routines in the ELT classroom, we will explore possible solutions. We will experience a few thinking routines that focus on different thinking skills to see how they can support our students and how we can incorporate them into the infrastructure of our classes.

Kristýna graduated from the Department of English and American Studies at Palacký University and at the same time she finished her ELT Methodology study. Prior to joining Oxford University Press, she worked for many years as an English language teacher in the private and public sector, in the Czech Republic and abroad after obtaining her CELTA certificate. She specialised in the methodology and teaching of adult learners of all language levels and abilities. She currently works at OUP as an Educational Support Consultant.
