In this workshop, we will look at the different assessment criteria and investigate how your learners can use the criteria to focus their writing practice. The session will include practical ideas that you can take away and use in class straight away to encourage learner independence and increase confidence in this challenging skill.

Margaret Cooze holds an MA in Applied Linguistics and an MSc in English Language Teaching Management, and has worked in senior-examiner roles at Cambridge English Language Assessment and Cambridge Assessment International Education. She is the author of Approaches to Learning and Teaching English as a Second Language (Cambridge University Press).
