In today's digital age, our students constantly consume media. Yet how often do they stop to question what they're seeing? As ESL teachers, we have a unique opportunity to develop language skills while building critical media literacy competencies that students need. This workshop explores practical ways to weave media literacy into lessons by suggesting reliable websites, topic selections and lesson designs, also addressing some pitfalls.
