At the advanced level (C1/C2), learning plateaus are rarely about grammar rules—they're about identity, confidence, and habit. Many teachers fall into the Expert Trap, focusing on correcting micro-errors instead of coaching the learner through psychological barriers. This talk will strategically redefine the EFL teacher's role for the high-level classroom. We will diagnose why the traditional "knower" approach fails at the point of near-fluency and introduce the Human Aspect Coaching (HAC) framework. Learn how to transition from being the primary source of knowledge to becoming a skillful facilitator who unlocks the learner's full communicative impact, transforming their final push to mastery.
