This highly practical workshop gives you the low-friction systems needed to coach C1/C2 learners effectively. We start by addressing a common challenge: your own limiting beliefs about your language use, especially the fear of not knowing every answer. You will learn actionable techniques to protect your authority by reframing your presence from expert to guide. We will equip you with specific empowerment tips, including the '3-Question Scaffolding Rule' and strategies for setting impact goals over mere accuracy goals. Leave with the immediate tools to conduct empowering sessions and build a teaching practice that is efficient, sustainable, and psychologically transformative for your most advanced students.

Claudia has been in ELT for over 26 years, holds a Ph.D in Applied Linguistics, an MEd. (TESOL), CELTA, DELTA and PGCE. She is Director of Education for MMPublications Central Europe and a teacher trainer, author and materials writer. Claudia often presents at international ELT conferences and is also involved with examining and assessment training. Claudia often says: “The more I work with teachers, the more I realise the diverse challenges teachers and learners face. Helping them overcome these gets me out of bed in the morning”.
