Differentiated teaching is when we plan and structure lessons to take account of all students in class, whatever their individual level and abilities. The goal is for all students to make progress in their learning. In my session, we are going to have a look at some practical tips and activities that match different abilities of your students. Differentiation simply means acknowledging that students are individuals who learn in different ways and at different rates.

Roman works as a methodology consultant and presenter for the distributor Megabooks in Slovakia. He gained his teaching experience whilst teaching teenagers at secondary school. Between 2007 and 2021 he worked as an ELT consultant and later as an Area Manager for Oxford University Press, Slovakia. He organized a lot of teacher trainings, seminars, conferences and workshops on the methodology in Slovakia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Austria, and in the Czech Republic.
